Korean Beauty haul!

So 2 weeks ago for my birthday, I was treated to a lovely week away in Seoul, South Korea. Was really excited for this trip because Seoul is basically beauty mecca and after doing alot of research, there were many products highly raved about that I was itching to get my hands on.

Its mainly skincare products but there are a couple makeup products in there I’m eager to try.

So this is the entire haul:

Major haul including all the free sample goodies! 😀

And then breaking it down by brand.

INNISFREE

innisfree
Innisfree. Great brand that use natural ingredients so they are great for sensitive skins, as well as eco friendly recyclable packing.

ETUDE HOUSE

etude
Very affordable and popular brand among young people.

SKINFOOD

skinfood
Love their name and very true. We are afterall, feeding nutrients to our skin. ^^

LANEIGE

laneige
Mid end brand. They stock Laneige in many countries but a shame they have yet to break into the UK market.

MISSHA

missha
Used this brand for awhile and they have some great dupes for high end skincare.

IOPE

iope
High end brand. The original creators of the popular BB cushions.

The Face Shop

Didnt pick up much from here buts cos I had already shopped myself out! Ha

Other brands

Other bits and pieces I was looking for in other well known shops like Banila, Tony Moly, Clio and Holika Holika.

And finally. The samples!

Oh the one great thing I love about shopping in Seoul. When you buy items they give you free samples to try. And the more you buy the more or the bigger the samples they give you!

Soo, thats everything! I purchased the majority of it in the popular shopping district Myeongdong since our hotel was in the area. However I also picked up a few things at Lotte World Mall department store and in Insadong. Most of these brands have their own stores aka ‘road shops’ in all the major shopping areas so its quite easy to find what you want.

Just about managed to squash everything into my luggage. Haha. So glad they didn’t ask to see any of it when I claimed tax free on my purchases at the airport. Would’ve been a nightmare to get it all back in.

So I have just started testing out a few products and I’m going to test them out a bit longer before I start to review anything. But I aim to eventually get around to reviewing everything I’ve purchased and my opinion on whether they worked for me or not.
